Did you know that Unionville holds a world record for the most rainfall ever record within a single minute? In 1956, on America’s Independence Day (July 4th), 1.23 of rain fell within the span of a single minute. That’s more rain than many cities get in an entire month! For example, the average rainfall in Seattle, Washington during the month of July is approximately 0.93 inches.
